Promotion of the site will include a tie-in with Cartoon Network that will see sponsorship and banners within its site (www.cartoonnetwork.co.uk) and TV ads on its channels.
The sites will be backed by leaflets and on-shelf spot material, and from next year, the web address will appear on Frubes packaging.
The site, designed by web agency 64k, will be expanded and upgraded over three years as the programme develops.
The first phase of its development will aim to introduce children to the concept of baseball through nine interactive games.
"We did a lot of analysis in the UK and football, rugby and cricket were the biggest sports, and we found that kids don't need to be taught how to play them,
said Matt Groves, chief executive of 64k. "But baseball is a bit alien, so we developed the web site to help introduce the rules in a fun way."
Players who complete all the games play a game of baseball against a special Frubes Baseball Team to be entered into a draw for a holiday to see the baseball World Series in the US.
