With improved navigation and new personal finance tools, the site aims to build on Yahoo!'s existing services, which allow users to search for and compare information on credit cards, mortgages, loans and tax.
Under the terms of the deal, MoneySupermarket will power eight of the Yahoo!-branded categories available on the site. It joins Yahoo!'s existing finance partners such as Reuters, The Financial Times, Bloomberg TV, Business Week and Motley Fool.
Sarah Baker, finance producer at Yahoo! UK & Ireland, said: "Our challenge in redesigning the site was to accommodate what we call our net virgins and our net veterans. With the increasing trend for managing personal finances online, we have made basic information easily accessible, while allowing existing mature users of the product to drill down into more detailed information."
MoneySupermarket also provides online financial services for BTopenworld sites and the Lycos portal.
