Yahoo!'s is an online provider of information and advice on a variety of financial issues. It aims to help consumers make the most of their money, from experienced stock traders to homebuyers looking for the best mortgage deal.
Yahoo! UK & Ireland marketing director Yonca Brunini oversaw the agency appointment. Its first work, an integrated campaign to drive awareness of the site, will break in early 2004.
Yahoo! UK & Ireland's agency roster also includes Maher Bird Associates, which was awarded the trade advertising business in August, following a seven-way pitch involving Soul, Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest, Proximity London, KLP Euro RSCG, Joshua and Wunderman. Media planning and buying is handled by Manning Gottlieb OMD.
Earlier this year, the company parted company with Black Rocket Euro RSCG, its US ad agency of nine years.
