The event, which took place at London's Earls Court on 16 February, was presented by comedian Peter Kay and broadcast live on ITV1.

XL Video provided its Pixled F11 LED model, which also featured last year, as the 'artists' screen at the show.

The 'presenter's' screen was larger than in previous years, and constructed from 10m wide by 8m high Lighthouse R7 modules, positioned stage right behind the presenter's area. This gave an improved viewing field for the audience.

Further LED screens, projection, PPU, camera systems and playback content were, for the ninth consecutive year, produced by XL Video.

XL also provided special performance video pieces for Cheryl Cole and Robbie Williams.

Cole had 120 Barco Mi-Strips inbuilt into the front of her 10 onstage steps, while Williams' set consisted of 1,800 X-Spheres, positioned in decreasing sized rectangles as they traveled upstage.

Artists performing live at the show included Lady Gaga, Kasabian, Lily Allen and a collaboration between Dizzee Rascal and Florence & The Machine.

Robbie Williams who walked away with this year's Outstanding Contribution to Music Award also performed.
