Taylor is to apply his expertise to ensuring local Wunderman offices exploit technology and database resources, and to standardising data and digital practises across the client roster where appropriate.
Wunderman has also tasked Taylor with pulling its local capabilities into a pan-European offering for clients who have multi-country requirements. There are 28 offices in the Wunderman EMEA network.
According to David Sable, president of Wunderman EMEA, the plan is to capitalise on its experience in regional data work for clients such as Ford.
He said: "More and more clients are requiring global and regional data solutions. Mark's responsibility will be to leverage that learning across client categories and across frontiers so that Wunderman can deliver the ultimate breadth in the direct marketing value chain."
Taylor is an economics and business administration graduate of Sheffield University and has more than 15 years' experience of marketing and advertising. Prior to joining Wunderman/Y&R in 2001 he co-founded Le Mac et La Plume in France, which provides database services to advertising agencies.
