
The appointment is aimed at providing a central point for WRG’s technical capabilities, enabling the continuous improvement of technical output across all live events.
Johnstone’s remit will also involve managing long-term supplier relationships and leading the agency’s capabilities in health and safety. Johnstone brings over 12 years experience to the role, and has lead the technical delivery of major corporate events and exhibitions all over the world for clients like Cisco, Google and Ford.
Johnstone said: "I’ve had the privilege of working with some exceptionally talented teams over the years, delivering creatively-led events and experiences for global brands. I’m excited to be joining WRG as the momentum builds at this pivotal time. I look forward to providing leadership, championing technical innovation and driving a commercially-minded culture as I work to support the live events team."
