Fiat Germany has come up with a billboard that helps motorists park.
The video poster uses parking sensors – the kind normally found inside Fiat 500s – to gather data about a car’s distance from other parked vehicles, which is then translated into a character on the screen doing the "little bit more" gesture with their hands. The ad is clever and fun but, like many digital billboards, is a better PR exercise than an effective piece of advertising communications. Also, the less said about the cringeworthy characters who appear on the screen to help drivers make parking "cool" or "sexy", the better.
