The experience, Canopy & Stars at Crane 29, which launches today (30 May), is being supported by sustainable buidling materials from B&Q and has been devised together with Wonderland Communications. It took three years to design and plan, and three weeks to build. It will welcome more than 200 guests over the course of its installation.
The low-impact, zero-carbon build was completed with sustainable materials, smart space-saving solutions and even pollinating plants on the roof to attract the local urban wildlife. The space aims to reflect how industrial meets natural, creating a sensory bubble of nature hanging high above the city. All profits from the project will go to Friends of the Earth.
Canopy & Stars at Crane 29 will disappear without a trace at the end of September.
