The World: Moscow - Conde Nast obliges rich Russians with new Tatler

Conde Nast is extending its presence in Russia with the launch of a Russian edition of Tatler magazine in September.

The company currently publishes Russian editions of five magazines - Vogue, Glamour, GQ, GQ Style and Architectural Digest, as well as hosting websites for Glamour and GQ.

Jonathan Newhouse, the chairman of Conde Nast International, said: "Tatler occupies a unique and highly successful position at the top end of the British market. Wealthy and cultivated Russians, many of whom are familiar with it, now demand their own Russian edition, and we will oblige them."
