Wootmedia to woo ads to celeb site

User-generated celebrity picture site MrPaparazzi.com has appointed online agency Wootmedia to bring advertisers on board for the first time.

Wootmedia, which has carved a niche in bringing cult websites together with big brands, will be responsible for attracting advertisers from the entertainment, leisure, retail and fast-moving consumer goods sectors to the MrPaparazzi site.

MrPaparazzi.com, an extension of the Big Pictures photo agency, invites people to send in photos and video clips of celebrities. They receive half of all subsequent sales if the material is sold to newspaper and magazine publishers.

Wootmedia represents 40 online publishers including Urban Junkies, Weebl's Stuff and Holy Moly. The company was founded in 2005 by Austen Kay and Dan McDevitt.
