The changes include five new editorial features and what IPC terms as introducing "a brighter and more contemporary look" to the magazine.
The new editorial features include "Yes You Can Wear It", a round-up of new outfits from high street retailers and supermarkets, "Well-being", a look at complementary treatments and "Cook With Us", a new feature, which offers culinary tips and hints.
IPC said the changes have been introduced following a research programme, after the appointment of editor Diane Kenwood in December last year.
Kenwood says: "We've introduced a subtle but more modern new look for the cover, giving the magazine maxiumum stand out on the news-stand."
According to ABC figures for January 1 to June 30 this year, the circulation of Women's Weekly fell 6.1% year on year to an average sale of 311,908 copies per week.
