Wolf Blass signs hospitality deal with Welsh Rugby

LONDON - The Welsh Rugby Union has inked a sponsorship deal with Australian wine maker Wolf Blass, in which it will enjoy extensive brand awareness across the home of Welsh rugby, the Millennium Stadium.

The deal was negotiated by Frontiers Group and is the first WRU wine partnership. The brand will be sold in the Millennium Stadium throughout public outlets and in all corporate hospitality facilities. In addition, spectators will be able to sample and purchase wine at a unique Wolf Blass-branded trailer on all international match days.

Roger Lewis, WRU chief executive, said: "Wolf Blass is a premium brand and a quality product and we are delighted to welcome them on board as the exclusive wine partner to the WRU."

Wolf Blass is already associated with sport throughout the UK. The brand is the exclusive partner to the Rugby Football Union and to the seven international cricket test grounds, Lords, The Oval, Old Trafford, Headingley, Trent Bridge, Edgbaston and Chester-le-Street.
