Following two successful years of Wimbledon Tennis fever at King’s Cross, the big screen is due to make a return this summer.
, which has for the last two years drawn in crowds of tens of thousands to Granary Square, is making a return at its new home, Lewis Cubitt Square.
If you can’t get tickets to Centre Court or don’t want to queue for Murray Mound, then the newly opened public space in King’s Cross could the the place for you to watch Wimbledon this summer.
At four metres by four metres, the screen will be the biggest and best quality to date and will be one of central London’s largest. The first 50 or so visitors will be able to grab one of our deck chairs for viewing comfort and picnics spots are also available.
But for those who want to indulge in the spirit of summer, Pimms, Prosecco, cold beers and soft drinks will be on offer all week long from the Strawberries and Screen bar. Tastetastic KERB will also be on hand for all your street food needs, Monday – Friday.
To ensure your tiny tots are amused and your tennis skills refined, we will be hosting a series of Wimbledon themed pop-up events during the tennis season. So if you love to play tennis, then ensure your eyes are glued to our to find out the latest.
Strawberries and Screen spokesperson, Anna Strongman, who oversees the events programme at King’s Cross, said: "Following the success of the last few years, we are delighted to announce that Strawberries and Screen is returning to King’s Cross in an even bigger way."

Our new public space, Cubitt Square is the perfect location for the big screen – and we think visitor will enjoy an even more immersive experience, with an atmosphere that will be the best outside of SW19."
Strawberries and Screen will run from the start of play at Wimbledon on Monday June 29 to the conclusion of the men’s final on Sunday July 12. The screen will be showing the main BBC coverage and will usually be closed at around 8pm, unless a key match is in progress.
