William Hill begins broadcasting with dedicated TV service

The company has installed a broadcast studio in it headquarters in Leeds and will begin ‘live' broadcasts from 13 October.

They will be shown throughout William Hill's 2,450 licensed betting offices, providing consumers with news, the latest odds and pundit insights.

William Hill said it will take a ‘Channel Five News' style format.

The broadcasts will be fronted by presenters Carla Hilton and Ross Brierley.

It said it is the first bookmaker to launch its own dedicated TV service, independent of the industries suppliers SIS (Satellite Information Services) and Turf TV.
