
According to sources the retailer has increased its marketing budget and will be targeting customers who previously shopped at Woolworths before the competing chain closed in January.
Mobile outdoor company Look Media will continue to work with Wilkinson on its outdoor strategy. It is thought the retailer is down to a shortlist of two media agencies.
It has recently rebranded several of its stores across the UK. Its latest campaign, through Look Media, was across four-sheet posters and was supported by other outdoor activity including people carrying illuminated backpack billboards.
The chain also has an online store, Wilkinsonplus, which sells an extended range of products.
