RDF Media, creators of 'Wife Swap', the reality TV show that shot Lizzy to fame in the first place, will make the two-week long programme, working titled 'Bed and Bardsleys', for Channel 4.
Lizzy and her husband Mark, who the tabloids branded the "laziest couple in Britain" living off £37,000 in handouts, will have to tend to visitors, stag and hen parties, look after surprise guests as well as looking after their eight children.
Channel 4 will screen four hour-long episodes of 'Bed and Bardsleys' in a late-night slot from next year. The show is set to screen at 11pm, suggesting that it is set to be considerably ruder than 'Wife Swap'.
However, insiders are suggesting that the couple, who had enough trouble coping on 'Wife Swap', could be a disaster waiting to happen as they try to handle their own B&B.
One insider suggested to the Daily Mirror that the couple could be the new Sybil and Basil Fawlty from the BBC comedy classic 'Fawlty Towers'.
"There should be a lot of fireworks with some surprise visitors," the insider said.
