White Ribbon Alliance hosts postcard and picture parlour at Glastonbury festival

White Ribbon Alliance is giving Glastonbury festival goers the chance to get in the frame and support its work for Safe Motherhood.

The non-profit organisation brings people together to demand the right to a safe birth for every woman, everywhere. On the White Ribbon Alliance giant photo experience, which launches today (26 June) and runs throughout the festival, people will be dressing up and jumping into the life sized polaroid frame with their friends to send a "Hello Mum" message. The photos of this will be sent directly to participant’s mobiles, to be instantly shared via social channels.

They also have the opportunity to send physical postcards of their photo from the Glastonbury site to friends and loved ones anywhere in the world, via a partnership with Cards in the Post.

The activity has been devised in partnership with agency Karmarama. Last year, White Ribbon Alliance hosted a Mum's Tattoo Parlour at the festival to raise awareness of its work.
