Whisky brand owner William Grant & Sons, which produces the
Glenfiddich range of single malts, has launched a web site for its
prestige label The Balvenie, this week.
The site (www.thebalvenie. com), gives fans an insight into production
of The Balvenie single malt whiskies which include vintages worth up to
£299. They also get a guide on how to nose, and taste their
favourite tipples correctly.
People will be able to register their details on the site to receive
updates on The Balvenie offers.
The site, created by Dowcarter, is expected to offer The Balvenie range
online through an e-shop soon.
Lucy Bucknall, client project manager, said: "This is a prestige, top of
the range brand, whose market is global.
"We hope to go in the direction of selling it online."
