After giving gig visitors glowing Xyloband wristbands on its recent tour, Coldplay will now be performing alongside dancers whirling these LED batons in the Paralympic Closing Ceremony this Sunday.
The twirling light batons, known as Pixel-Poi, were created by Feeding the Fish, and when spun make an image appear in mid air.
They are usually used for high-end corporate acts – a brand logo can be designed into the light shapes.
Pixel-Poi featured on the Take That Circus Tour, and will be seen by millions in the closing ceremony this weekend during a Coldplay number. Feeding the Fish haven't revealed which song they'll be twirling to, but say it's "one of our favourites".
The team has been training the performers for the ceremony and its artists will join the cast to make a total of 33 people performing with Pixel-Poi.
