Wegener DM launches 13m-strong French data pool

LONDON - Wegener DM has unveiled a data pool in France boasting 13m records and more than 20 contributors.

The firm claims this is the largest transactional data pool in France and includes data from retailers, home shopping forms, publishers and charities.

Wegener DM group marketing director Caroline Kimber said: "It is a tribute to our key strengths, in particular our expertise in providing total data solutions that we have played such a significant role in the development of this major project in France."

Last month, Wegener reshuffled part of its European management team, promoting Netherlands director Otto Oosterwijk to the role of chief executive of Wegener DM UK, replacing David Perkins who quit the firm after three years.

Oosterwijk was replaced by Arthur Detering, formerly a member of the firm's Netherlands management board.
