Weekender: Innocent Unplugged, Lego, Chelsea in Bloom and Heverlee

Innocent Unplugged, Lego's Imagination Factory roadshow, Chelsea in Bloom and Heverlee's activation at the Riverside Festival all take place this weekend (27-29 May).

Taking place over the long bank holiday weekend (28-30 May), the Innocent Unplugged festival returns for another year of technology-free (at least that’s the aim) fun. Set in a secret forest near Sevenoaks in Kent, festival-goers will be encourage to leave their electronic devices at home and go off-grid for the weekend.

Lego's Imagination Factory is teaming up with Smyths Toys

Smyths Toys is to host a pop-up Lego Imagination Factory roadshow at selected stores across the UK this weekend. Visitors will be able to build their own creations, take part in challenges and grace the graffiti walls with their artwork. Participants will enter via the get 'Ready Station' where they will get to meet the 'Chief Imaginee', and have their photo taken in workers'  hats and vests.

Where: 12 stores across the UK, including Glasgow, Leeds, Watford and Nottingham

Chelsea in Bloom: Kate Spade was one retailer taking part in last year's show

La Perla, Smythson and Liz Earle are among the retail brands currently taking part in Chelsea in Bloom - an alternative to the famous flower show, which showcases the borough’s streets and retailers, with imaginative floral installations. There will also be complimentary rickshaw rides and a pop-up gin bar.

Heverlee: Belgian-themed activations at this year's Riverside Festival

Belgian beer brand Heverlee is to activate at the Electric Frog & Pressure Riverside Festival, in Glasgow, as part of its headline sponsorship of the event. Plans include a Heverlee Beer Garden, inspired by street food vendors in Belgium, with live music and a street art battle to entertain the crowds.
