The Week: City News - DMG buys digital agencies

Ben Langdon's Digital Marketing Group has bought two digital agencies for a combined £12.1 million.

The group will pay a maximum of £8.6 million for Graphico New Media, a digital and mobile marketing agency, split into £4 million cash, and up to £3.1 million shares and £1.5 million loan notes, depending on performance targets. DMG, which is headed by the former Euro RSCG London chairman Langdon, has also acquired Hyperlaunch, a creative agency, for a maximum of £3.5 million. The deals follow the acquisitions of the digital DM agency Cheeze and the technology company Alphanumeric in January for around £24 million.
