The has been set up by Marcus Warry, who got the idea after seeing attractive women around London, but not being sure of how to approach them.
Users join the site, which currently offers free membership. They are then able to order impulsedating cards, which carry details of their dating profile without carrying personal details such as telephone number.
These cards can then be given to attractive strangers, who will be able to log in on the site and find out more about their suitor and potentially get in touch if they are interested in pursuing something. After a month's free trial, the site costs 拢2.50 to subscribe to.
Warry, who is no longer single, said romance was waiting to be let loose.
"Speed dating works on the premise that three minutes is all you need to know if you fancy someone -- but I think you know in a single glance or a cheeky wink.
"I am hoping that this will become a national, and then global craze."
