The Media Sqaure-owned agency has appointed Arc marketing director Matt Tabb to the managing director role. Jordan has joined Baber Smith as managing director.

Tabb previously worked on account such as Procter & Gamble but most recently was responsible for new business, bringing in business from brands such as Coca-Cola and HBoS.

Wax was formed out of merger between Dynamo and conflict-agency Catalyst, which were headed up by Marriott and Jordan respectively. The two were appointed as joint managing partners upon the merger.

On announcing Tabb's appointment, Media Square said that Jordan was leaving to pursue “opportunities outside the promotional marketing arena”.

Speaking of Jordan's departure, Media Square executive chairman for marketing Mike Spicer said: 'We are sorry to be losing Sam, a talented and creative marketer with a well-earned reputation as a brilliant strategic thinker. But we understand that he wants to broaden his experience and take up new challenges.'
