Virgin Holidays "hair flick" by M&C Saatchi
The 20-second TV spot shows a hairdresser coming out of the sea and flicking his hair back in the style of a mermaid as he cannot contain how brilliant his holiday is making him feel.
It is part of Virgin Holidays' "#FlauntIt" campaign promoting its January sale.
It was written by Dan McCormack and Gary Arnold, art directed by David Lawrie, Neil Ritchie and Luke Boggins, and directed by Tom Van Schelven through M&C Saatchi.
Hotels.com "the obvious choice" by Crispin Porter & Bogusky
The company’s European campaign shows the site's benefits and features a voiceover from Joe Wilkinson, the comedian.
It was created by Ben Walker and Matt Gooden. Rawson Thurber directed it through Caviar.
Kuoni "find your amazing" by Grey London
Lenka Tanner, the synchronised swimmer, is shown running upside down underwater.
Copywriting and art direction was handled by Jonathan Marlow. Marcus Söderlund directed the spot through Academy Films.
Brittany Ferries "any" by Bray Leino
The ad shows different people discovering new things while on holiday and uses the strapline "discovered anything lately?"
Jon Elsom was the executive creative director on the campaign, with Ken Sara leading art direction. It was directed by Jason Fisher-Jones through The Mob Productions.
Haven Holidays "silly days" by Souk
The spot follows adults and children having fun with the activities at its resorts, including water slides, zip wires and games on the beach.
Claus Larsen took charge of art direction and Andy Imrie did the copywriting. The spot was directed by Morgan Hutchins through RSA Films.
P&O Cruises "this is the life" by Founded
Rob Brydon stars in this ad as he enjoys all the amenities and luxury that a P&O Cruise offers. He also provides a voiceover with light-hearted underwhelming comments.
The spot was directed by Steve Reeves through Another Film Company.
Virgin Atlantic "the idea" by Adam & Eve/DDB
Virgin Atlantic took a business travel focus to its ad. The spot opens with a man having an idea and then booking a Virgin Atlantic upper class ticket to go and pitch it.
The ad was created by Richard Brim and Daniel Fisher, and directed by Sam Brown through Rogue.
