The campaign is called "make it special" and was created by DLKW Lowe. The TV ad is already online and will first air on TV tonight (14 December) during Coronation Street on ITV.
In the ad, different people – families, Morrisons employees, Ant and Dec – sing It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas in a variety of festive scenes that feature the supermarket’s products.
The TV spot is backed by in-store, radio and press activity, in addition to sponsorship deals with Capital FM and ITV’s Text Santa charity drive.
Nick Collard, the group marketing and customer director at Morrisons, said: "As our customers start to think about Christmas, they want to know it’s going to be magical and special for their families and we want to help make it special for them.
"We’re really proud of our in-store experts that help to make Morrisons distinct and we know that our customers appreciate the great value we offer them on fresh food and famous brands, especially as Christmas approaches."
The work was created by Tom Hudson and directed by Jonathon Herman through Blink. MEC handled the media.
