In the newly created role, Cochrane will be responsible for marketing across Warner Brothers UK film, home video, TV, digital, games and consumer products operation.
She will also take a seat on the Warner Bros UK executive board, and will be responsible for a team of 44 staff, reporting to Josh Berger, Warner Bros UK president and managing director.
The move comes after it was revealed last month that Cochrane would be stepping down as Channel 4's director of marketing after working for the broadcaster since 1998.

Cochrane's tenure at Channel 4 saw her rise from marketing controller to marketing director, winning widespread industry acclaim on her rise to the top.
She led the development of a distinctive yet coherent brand portfolio at Channel 4 during a period of rapid diversification
Her achievements included the creation of some of the most recognisable and awarded marketing campaigns of recent times, and the successful launches of More4, E4, Film4 free to air, Channel 4+1 and 4oD.
Prior to Channel 4, Cochrane was head of advertising and promotions for Five, then known as Channel 5. She started her career at advertising agency, WCRS.
Cochrane is also chairman of Freeview and non-executive director for the Department for Communities and Local Government.
