
The drama is titled The Seeds of Love and will run through to the end of October. It follows on from a recent campaign by Warburtons to push the health properties of its wholemeal loaves.
At the end of September Warburtons initiated a sampling drive to promote the soap’s microsite while 250,000 emails have also been sent out with a link to the first episode.
Warburtons senior brand manager Joanne Bishop said the primary aim was to encourage take-up with women.
In addition to the drama, the microsite also includes a competition to win a mini-break in Venice. Runners-up prizes include a year’s supply of Seeded Batch.
The drama features actors from Casualty and Hollyoaks and is based around a romance taking place in the office.
