The pair, who moved to AMV in 2006, will head up the agency's £100m global Visa account. It is not known if they will work across other accounts at the independent agency.
During their 14-month stint at AMV, the duo oversaw the Omnicom group agency's Wrigley and Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs accounts.
Prior to AMV, Jordan and Macadam worked at Leo Burnett across a range of clients, including BT, PepsiCo and Guinness.
During their time at Leo Burnett, the pair gained acclaim for award-winning work, including the drink-drive "crash" spot for the Department for Transport, which won bronze at the British Television Awards in 2005.
The duo also created "cameraphone", which won gold at the BTAA last year, as well as three D&AD Pencils.
In 1999, the pair won the Cannes Advertising Festival's third Young Creatives competition. Jordan and Macadam joined Leo Burnett from D'Arcy following a merger between the two agencies, having joined D'Arcy in 1999.
The appointment comes four months after W&K was appointed to Visa's FIFA World Cup sponsorship account. The agency will create global campaigns for ten FIFA World Cup events, including South Africa 2010.
It is understood that Jordan and Macadam are still at AMV, and will serve out a period of notice before joining W&K.
W&K and AMV both declined to comment.
