
The office, which will be fully operational by the end of this year, will be located in Delhi. This is understood to be one of six key global markets in which Nokia requires both a strategic and creative presence.
Dave Luhr, global chief operating officer for Wieden & Kennedy, said: "Over the course of the last 18 months, we have been working on details of opening our office in India. The Nokia win just accelerated our plans, and W+K India will be fully operational by the end of this year.
"With a strong presence in India we are now poised to service additional global clients."
Wieden & Kennedy already has offices in Portland, New York, London, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Shanghai and Beijing.
