It has teamed up with 180 Amsterdam, which is based in the Netherlands but has opened an office in Los Angeles this year. The pitch list now stands at 180, Fallon, Havas' Arnold with independent Nitro and incumbent Euro RSCG.
Independent agency Strawberry Frog and WPP Group's Ogilvy & Mather were eliminated from the review process last week.
The finalists will be briefed tomorrow with a provisional dates for pitches pencilled in for late March.
It is believed the brief will challenge agencies to plan global campaigns to promote seven new models over the next four years. Euro RSCG has held the Volvo creative account in the US since 1991. However, the Volvo brand has been suffering in recent months with falling sales, hence the global account going out for pitch.
Only last week, Goodby Silverstein & Partners lost the US creative account for General Motor's Saturn brand to Interpublic's Deutsch/LA, based in California. General Motors spent $190m advertising the Saturn in 2006 after spending $215m in 2005.
