The Vogue Festival will include talks, performances, debates, makeovers and workshops with the magazine’s designers, photographers, models and writers.
Publisher Condé Nast will organise the two-day festival internally with event management company Timebased providing logistics. The event is in association with luxury mobile phone manufacturer Vertu.
Condé Nast told Event it is in the process of confirming the festival’s layout and was working in the Royal Geographic Society last week. It will consider making the festival annual if the inaugural event is successful.
Alexandra Shulman, editor of British Vogue, said she is "tremendously excited" about the festival. She added: "It will be the first of its kind to allow the general public to see and hear some of the world’s greatest fashion talent speaking, as well as to engage in many interesting issues that fashion and style raises."
