Vogue links up with diary firm

LONDON - Conde Nast's Vogue.com has teamed up with stationer Smythson of Bond St to feature in its fashion diary for 2008.

The diary, made of lilac, orange or emerald crocodile-finish calf leather, features fashion council listings, city and fashion guides to London, Paris, New York and Milan.

In the partnership, vogue.com will be listed in the front section of the diary along with trendy restaurants and hotels as the destination for diary users to get the latest news and trends.

On the days when fashion week schedules are announced, the diary page points readers to vogue.com for more information.

It is the first time a publication has been listed in a Smythson diary. The deal was negotiated by vogue.com editor Dolly Jones.

A Conde Nast spokeswoman said that, although the deal was currently a one-off, Vogue would be looking to continue the partnership in future.

The diary will be available for purchase on Smythson’s website, outlets and stores, and retails from £120.
