Vodafone to sponsor Capital's Summertime Ball for further three years

Vodafone has partnered with Global for a further three years to sponsor Capital's Summertime Ball.

The deal follows a four-year relationship with Vodafone as the headline sponsor for the annual live event in London.

The partnership was brokered by MEC.

Vodafone will also work with Global to find an unsigned act to perform at the event. Two acts in the Vodafone Future Breakers will compete for Capital listeners’ votes.

Alex Conaway, the head of brand advocacy, engagement and activation at Vodafone, said: "The partnership has been a huge success with Capital’s Summertime Ball now playing a major role in driving brand engagement for Vodafone.

"This year I’m confident we can build on the great work we’ve already done with Global to make Capital’s Summertime Ball with Vodafone 2016 the most successful yet."
