Vizeum nets £7m Paramount Home Entertainment media

LONDON - Paramount Home Entertainment has appointed Vizeum to handle its £7m media planning and buying account.

Vizeum won the account after a pitch, put together by Billetts, involving Universal McCann, The Allmond Partnership and Mediaedge:cia. The business was previously handled by ZenithOptimedia, which did not repitch.

The agency has experience working on film and entertainment accounts through its Disney client. The Disney account moved from Vizeum to its sister Aegis Media agency Carat last year.

Paramount Home Entertainment distributes film and other entertainment DVDs. Its TV series DVDs include 'Star Trek', 'Sex and the City', 'Charmed' and 'Frasier'. Forthcoming film releases on DVD include 'Team America: World Police' and 'The Longest Yard'.

No one at Vizeum would comment.
