Robinson, a former marketing director at J. Walter Thompson and Publicis, will join Vizeum to spearhead its international new business and marketing efforts.
He was previously chief executive of the marketing and PR agency Beatwax, which specialised in music and entertainment brands but also has Vizeum as a client.
Vizeum, which launched in 2003 and includes the UK agency previously known as BBJ, had a solid new-business performance in Europe last year, winning the Kia and Heinz accounts. However, it lost its Disney account, which moved into sister agency Carat.
Robinson said: "Vizeum is the one media network with a real point of difference. It is the newest network and has major ambitions. I expect expansion to be significant in 2005."
