The four-part 9pm-10pm series about Jamie Oliver's mission to win the people of Rotherham over to home cooking started with a good following. It debuted with 3m viewers and then recorded 3.1m and a 14% share of viewing last week.
However, last night's third instalment pulled in a smaller audience of 2.5m, giving Channel 4 a lower share of 11.3%. Another 169,000 viewers watched it on Channel 4+1.
The drop can be blamed partly on 'Sunshine', the bittersweet three-parter penned by Craig Cash and Phil Mealey, which began last week with 3.7m viewers.
Last night its audience grew to 3.9m, making BBC One the most watched channel at 9pm-10pm with a share of 17.4%.
ITV1's 'Cops with Cameras' came in slightly below its performance last week with 3.5m and a 15.7% share, while Five's 'CSI:Miami' again delivered 2.6m (11.8%).
BBC Two lagged the field with 1.1m viewers (4.8%) for the second of its 'British Style Genius' programmes about the history of the fashion industry.
In the 8pm-9pm slot ITV1 attempted to combat the dominance of BBC One's Holby City -- which attracted 5.8m viewers and a 25.8% share -- with a new series of 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?'.
The Chris Tarrant-fronted quiz brought in 4.3m viewers, a 19% share, leaving Channel 4 in third place with 1.7m (7.5%) for 'The Sex Education Show', which was watched by another 204,000 viewers on Channel 4+1.
