The pop-up space overlooking the Tower of London was due to be set up in Trinity Gardens from 22 November to 17 December.
It was were raised only two weeks ago by neighbouring venue Trinity House, which ironically in September.
Moving Venue managing director Richard Beggs told Event: "Trinity House let us know that they were unhappy with having a party environment sat next to a war memorial."
"It did come as a bit of a surprise," he added. "At all times we’ve been very transparent with everybody: the council, local residents and Trinity House themselves. We worked very carefully to make sure there would be no issue."
The five events booked into the venue have been relocated as well as four events about to confirm and a several shared nights arranged.
"It’s a great shame and obviously has a commercial impact on us, but we have worked hard to relocate the events we had booked there to other locations," said Beggs.
The land in Trinity Gardens is owned by Tower Hamlets Council, which supported the plans. Moving Venue is also a preferred caterer at Trinity House.
Beggs added: "It’s about long-term development of the business not short-term gain, and I’d never do anything to disappoint venues like Trinity House where we’re a preferred caterer."
"We have to be very careful as we’re quite a high-end company. We wouldn’t want to do anything deemed inappropriate, and while I don’t believe we had, you have to yield to what your neighbours feel."
A Trinity House spokesperson told Event that the venue's board only became aware of the venue a few weeks ago.
A statement said: "[The View] was initially supported by the Trinity House commercial arm. However, when this proposal was raised at Trinity House’s Board it was rejected on the grounds it was felt to be inappropriate to have an entertainment venue adjacent to the Merchant Navy War Memorials. Trinity House understands the disappointment of Moving Venue and has been in close communication with the organisation since this decision was taken."
Beggs told Event The View concept was "portable" and could be set up at a different site in future.
