The glass-sided structure overlooking the Tower of London was due to be set up in Trinity Gardens from 22 November to 17 December.
Sources from the venue told Event will not be opening this year due to objections from neighbouring Trinity House, which ironically hosted the venue’s.
Trinity House are siad to be concerned about the venue's proximity to a war memorial.
The temporary space, which promised an interior garden, may launch next year when the situation is resolved.
