The Vienna Tourist Board will turn Trafalgar Square into a sideways celebration of Viennese cutlure with a massive 21 metre wall staging spectacular acrobatics displays later this month.

Vienna Tourist Board shows off 'Vienna from a different angle'

Called "Vienna from a different angle", the free event hosted by the Vienna Tourist Board will take place on October 25 and 26.

Four daily shows in front of Nelson’s Column will celebrate traditional and modern Viennese culture, mixing art, sound, lights and adventurous aerial displays.

Members of the public will also be able to take part in the death-defying stunts by walking vertically down the wall - the biggest-ever structure to be erected in the square.

The show will take inspiration from a range of Vienna’s musical and cultural heritage, with performers creating scenes on the vertical wall including the art of Gustav Kilmt and the famous Viennese waltz.

The activities will be supported by DJ Tommy Clark – friend of TOWIE star Lauren Pope and official DJ at Katie Price’s hen party – who will be performing in the square throughout.

The free event runs from 12:30pm to 8:30pm on both days, with everyone who attends given the chance to win an all-expenses paid weekend getaway to Vienna.
