A singing Santa and his six elves gave an impromptu performance on board a Manchester Arndale branded tram last Friday (16 December) and Event has video footage from the stunt.
Stunned commuters were informed the tram would have to make an unscheduled stop to pick up "special passenger" on his way to work at Manchester Arndale.
After boarding Santa and his elves launched into an acapella rendition of Santa Claus is Coming to Town.
The stunt was orchestrated by Manchester based retail event specialist Maynineteen.
The footage will be used to drive traffic to the Arndale’s Facebook page.
