The licence, awarded by Zodiac Rights, will allow Maynineteen to take t-shirt making workshops based around the CBeebies show to shopping centres around the UK in April.
At the workshops, children will be able to design and take home a free Waybuloo t-shirt featuring the pre-school show’s characters. Workshops booked so far will visit The Trafford Centre in Manchester, Eldon Square in Newcastle and Broadmarsh in Nottingham.
Shopping centres holding Waybuloo-themed events with Maynineteen will also be able to use Waybuloo branding in their publicity. Three and a half million people watched at least one episode of Waybuloo in 2010.
Katie Coombes, director of Maynineteen, said: "Maynineteen has always focussed on particular seasonal activities, such as fashion releases, Christmas and summer holidays. What isn’t obvious is that alongside all those more high profile activities we are always working with clients year-round on centre activities to build customer loyalty."
