From 4-10pm every day, Gett users in Shoreditch, Clerkenwell, the City, Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Belgravia and Kensington will be able to use the ‘Gett Clicquot’ app option to request the exclusive drink to their door.
Premium retailer Amathus will supply the champagne.
The partnership represents a new strategy for both brands. Veuve Clicquot recently launched its gifting app, Click for Clicquot, and Gett Clicquot marks an expansion of this service.
For Gett, it indicates a move to providing high quality products and services alongside transport.
Remo Gerber, Gett’s UK chief executive, said: "We are delighted to launch our first new vertical and to be partnering with prestigious brand, Veuve Clicquot, getting Londoners world-renowned champagne with a tap of the Gett app. For the last five years, we’ve been moving customers around safely and now ‘Gett Clicquot’ will use the same business model to bring this revolutionary new service to Londoners.
"This is the start of a wide new range of services to be offered through the Gett app - the consumer demand is enormous."
The service launches the week after rival transport app across the world.
