What’s it got? The White Horse re-opened on 12 November after an extensive refurbishment. The upstairs restaurant and private dining room now provide elegant dining and event spaces. Reclaimed Chesterfield sofas surround the spacious bar area downstairs, and the pub also features a large alfresco space complete with proper pub benches. New interior features such as gunmetal cast iron and old English leather wink at The White Horse’s prominent past.
Anything else? The pub has been trading since 1688 and will host the 30th Old Ale Festival on 23-25 November.
