
Those who attend Roundhouse Rising's 'getting ahead in music' day of workshops and panels on 19 March will be able to see how Spinnup works, and learn about the best ways to get their music uncovered.
Spinnup, which was created by Island Records - a division of Universal Music Group, was established to help the company uncover top unsigned talent.
Other activities to be held on the day include drop-in sessions for beginner DJs, songwriter clinics and 30-minute ‘demo surgery’ sessions with producer Spider J, along with meet the manager, music marketing and press kit panels.
The four-day event (17-20 March) will also see a range of live music performances from emering acts, including The Magic Gang, Black Honey, Inheaven, Kuenta I Tambu and Hannah Lou Clark, as well as the venue’s own Roundhouse Studios artists.
The event, which is now in its sixth year, is supported by Youth Music, PRS for Music Foundation and The Sackler Trust.
Nando's teamed up with the north London venue last September, to host its first .
