Mensa, the organisation for people with an IQ in the top two per cent of the population, will supply questions for an interactive quiz running on nine sites, including Virgin.net, iVillage UK, Unreel and Megastar.co.uk.
Players can take the test against the clock. A leaderboard will show which site has users with the 'most beautiful minds'.
Newsletter emails are being sent to about 410,000 users of the sites and 30,000 from the Universal Pictures database.
Interactive agency New Media Maze developed the campaign.
