Unilever assigns Flora digital task

Unilever has hired OgilvyOne to oversee the digital development and strategy of its Flora margarine brand.

OgilvyOne will handle online activity for Flora's 'Healthy heart' campaign, which launched last weekend to coincide with the London Marathon. The integrated initiative, created by Bartle Bogle Hegarty, uses TV, print and viral marketing to emphasise how good running can be for the heart.

OgilvyOne secured the brief following a shoot-out against Tribal DDB, MRM Worldwide and Dare, which were appointed to Unilever's global roster last year.

The win comes just months after Unilever picked OgilvyOne to promote its range of Vaseline Intensive Care skincare products and deodorants online (Marketing, 29 November 2006).

Unilever recently launched an umbrella website for Flora and Flora pro.activ brands. Created by Tullo Marshall Warren, the site is intended to appeal to health-conscious consumers.
