UKTV stations given colour idents by Dunning Eley Jones

LONDON - Dunning Eley Jones has further developed its design for the UKTV network of digital television stations with the introduction of a new colour system.

The agency has created a distinct colour palette for each of the nine UKTV channels, so each station now has its own hue.

This stage in the design strategy for the TV stations aims to create a more coherent brand identity across the entire network.

UKTV Gold, for example, is coloured, unsurprisingly, gold, and UKTV History's signature colour is green.

Liz Dunning, a partner at Dunning Eley Jones, said: "The new graphic design system is another stage in the process of creating a coherent brand identity for the entire network that visually unites and creates impact for the network as a whole."

Dunning Eley Jones was formed in June 2003 by a breakaway from the branding agency Lambie-Nairn.

UKTV operates nine digital television stations including UKTV Food, UKTV People and UKTV G2.
