This collabaration, which goes by the moniker of UBM Montgomery, will be bringing the successful IFSEC brand to one of the fatest-growing economies in the world.
After establishing itself as the leading security industry exhibition in the UK, IFSEC already boasts sister events in India and South Africa.
UBM Montgomery's Simon Parker said: "The launch of IFSEC West Africa will provide UK suppliers of security products and services with a practical route into this highly profitable emerging market."
To correspond with the launch of IFSEC West Africa, the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) is undertaking a major research project into the security market of West Africa, which in total is estimated to be worth more than £1bn.
Chris Pinder, BSIA southern regional general manager and export manager, commented: "UK products are often the preferred choice for Nigerians, so this is an exciting market for UK suppliers to explore."
The new show will address both commercial security and homeland security throughout its exhibition and educational content.
