Bar 09 was also the first trade exhibition to use the sustainable 'Go Green' registration system, which is provided by Expo Systems, meant no badges were sent to visitors beforehand, instead they were picked up when they arrived at the show.
UBM Live group marketing manager Kate Disley added: "The main reason for us taking the leap and going entirely ‘Go Green’ was that we were confident the Bar industry is a very technology savvy community. We felt the the system reflected the forward thinking trend-setting nature of the show."
